This past year has been a challenging one on many fronts. However, initiatives such as the one that has just been launched between PRODIREKT and UKLC highlight the resilience that characterizes the international education industry.

In fact, the Verbalists Education & Language Network, which is owned by PRODIREKT, has forged a partnership with UKLC and its new project iteach in delivering continuous support and development to teachers and education professionals.

The idea for the “Inspire Teach – iteach” project came from Céline Aloé, UKLC Managing Director, and Raff Cutolo, Academic Director, who felt they should offer some help to English teachers when the Covid-19 pandemic hit. They organised free webinars with themes such as: “Not all about Grammar”, “Digital Spoken Interactions”, “Lexis in Context”, “STEM and CLIL” and “Online Assessment”, and invited anyone to attend. Word got out quickly and soon more than 250 people were enrolling! Over and above these webnars, iteach offers teachers a low-cost platform where they can access high-quality interactive development sessions and asynchronous resources.

The partnership with the Verbalists Language Network followed as the logical step forward in enhancing the global reach of the project.

Verbalists Education has agreed with UKLC and iteach a series of free webinars, which will be exclusive to its member teachers and education professionals. The first webinar in the series starts on Thursday, February 11, at 19:00 GMT (Time in London), and the topic of focus is: “How to create emotionally charged events in your lessons.”

Schools are invited to circulate this webinar notification among their teachers and encourage them to register for this exciting event here.

iteach offers teachers a low-cost platform where they can access high-quality interactive development sessions and asynchronous resources.

iteach sessions are delivered by Raff Cutolo, an expert teacher trainer and Creative Learning Experience Designer. Raff has 15 years’ teaching experience in primary, secondary and tertiary education.
